First things first. I noticed my typo too late to fix it. (i before e except after c)

As you can probably tell the title of the vid is a bit misleading. The items still sink but we are controlling that sink.

These methods are probably obsolete now with place anywhere and SwaPA Mods readily available but some people don't have Mods and these methods may still be quicker even if you do have those Mods.

A quick disclaimer. I have not tried this with every item. I'm sure these techniques are not going to work in every situation or with every object but they should work in the majority of cases.

**Method 1 Rug Drop**

I prefer this method when possible. You can re-position the item multiple times before you remove the rug. That is the strongest asset of this technique. It is also possible to set the rug dropped item on a chain of rugs for longer reach. Just be sure to delete the rug the item is tethered to first.

**Method 2 Rug lift**

Some items like the Nuka Cola machine either can not be rug dropped or are very difficult to rug drop. That is when I lift them. One downside to this method is you usually only get one chance to set it where you want as trying to group select it again is likely to grab nearby objects. This method also works with a chain of rugs for more reach. The same advice applies here. Remove the rug closest to the item first.

**Method 3 Drop and Lift**

Some items like that counter I showed in the vid, shelves, etc become entangled with the rug. In those cases I have found dropping and then lifting usually works. The downside to this is exactly the same as method 2.

**Other info**

I tried to show a few of the difficulties I've encountered. Some objects are sensitive to heights. Tables seem to be notorious for this. Experiment with different heights and you might find the sweet spots. The tier (see I can spell after all) 1 shops seem to only work when dropped from high up. I'm sure there are other finicky things I forgot to include in the vid.

If you discover any other methods or uses for these techniques or figure out some solutions for problems I don't know I'd love to hear them in the comments.
